About the role
Our Career Medical Officers (CMOs) work closely with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) across a range of specialities and are responsible for managing and delivering the efficient, safe, and professional clinical care of patients within Calvary Bruce Private's facilities.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate your skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, surgical, and mental health patients.
Mandatory:
Full registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
Postgraduate experience commensurate at a minimum of RMO year 2 (postgraduate year 3 or 4).
Ability to work a 24/7 shift work roster.
Proven competence in applying medical knowledge and sound judgement in clinical diagnosis, investigation, and treatment of patients.
Commitment to ethical practice.
Demonstrated skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, surgical, and mental health patients.
Superior interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, and communication skills.
COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt.
Highly desirable:
An understanding and ability to apply quality improvement principles in medical practice and within an accredited hospital.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the general management of a clinical unit in a customer-focused environment, including the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
