You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
The Care Manager role will be offered as a permanent full-time position to oversee and support the clinical operations of the Home Duties include: Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care homeSupport and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and educationReview clinical incidents, complaints, and changesLead compliance with AN ACC assessmentsManage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance auditsOversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to provide optimal resident careThe Benefits: VIVA - our employee wellbeing program - live healthier and happier – see more about Why we work at Bupa; We've got your back. Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA is essentialPost grad qualification in aged care highly regardedExperience managing a minimum of 30 bedsProven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute settingExcellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilitiesHighly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesBe at the Heart of It – your new team is ready to welcome you!
