About the role We are seeking applications from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to lead our dedicated team at Geoffrey Cutter Centre Residential Aged Care Community.
Geoffrey Cutter centre is a 60 bed Care Community in Ballarat East.
The Care Community Manager is responsible for the overall operations and clinical management of residents within the Care community.
Geoffrey Cutter Centre is a high care community encompassing a memory support unit.
This position is recognised as a key management/leadership position within the organisation and is central to the provision of operational leadership and management to ensure high quality, safe and meaningful resident centred care.
The role also includes managerial responsibilities, budgeting, resource management, rostering and professional development.
Skills and Experience Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Post graduate qualification in management and/or Aged Care nursing desirable Demonstrated management experience in a Care Community (Aged Care setting) Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing theory to practice Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality systems and Aged Care accreditation Evidence of commitment to innovation and continuous improvement and the delivery of a high standard of resident centred care To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here Interested?

The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (NM10 – NM12) which ranges from $64.63 - $69.35 per hour.
