What your day will look like… As a Cardiologist at Toowoomba Health Service, your day will be filled with dynamic patient interactions, where you'll provide comprehensive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. You'll lead a collaborative team, guiding clinical processes while managing the Coronary Care Unit and overseeing the Cardiac Investigations Unit. Engaging in hands-on diagnostic and interventional procedures, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in peer reviews and clinical governance. Balancing patient care with mentorship, you'll shape the learning experiences of medical students and junior staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in cardiovascular services. Your commitment to excellence will not only enhance patient outcomes but will also contribute to the strategic growth of cardiology in the Darling Downs region.
This vacancy is for temporary and permanent (part-time or full-time). For full-time, you will receive a competitive remuneration package valued from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27), comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave (3.6 weeks p.a.), regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover, and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. Part-time will be prorated of full-time.
