We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Cath Lab team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.
Cardiac Technologists employed at Melbourne Private are responsible for providing high quality patient care and clinical expertise during Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cardiac Technologists are responsible for patient preparation, haemodynamic monitoring, assisting cardiologists with procedures, report preparation as well as intracardiac pacing and electrophysiological manoeuvres during ablation procedures. Learning ability, particularly with respect to new technology is key. Ability to work in a team setting is essential.
As a Cardiac Technologist, your responsibilities will include: Providing high quality patient care and clinical expertise during Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab.Patient preparation and haemodynamic monitoring.Assisting cardiologists with procedures and report preparation.Intracardiac pacing and electrophysiological manoeuvres during ablation procedures.Minimum Requirements: Authority to work in Australia.Working with Children check (if relevant).Bachelor of Health Science (BioMed/Nursing etc.) or equivalent.Current unrestricted AHPRA and ASAR registration.Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care.Self-motivated team player.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive, customer-focused approach.Healthscope, where career means more! If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience against the current allied health professionals Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria – Allied Health Professionals Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $44.54 and $53.58 per hour + superannuation).
