We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Cath Lab team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.
Cardiac Technologists employed at Melbourne Private are responsible for providing high quality patient care and clinical expertise during Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include patient preparation, haemodynamic monitoring, assisting cardiologists with procedures, report preparation, as well as intracardiac pacing and electrophysiological manoeuvres during ablation procedures. Learning ability, particularly with respect to new technology, is key. Ability to work in a team setting is essential.
As a Cardiac Technologist, your responsibilities will include: Providing high quality patient care and clinical expertise during Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab.Patient preparation, haemodynamic monitoring, assisting cardiologists with procedures, report preparation, as well as intracardiac pacing and electrophysiological manoeuvres during ablation procedures.Learning new technology and working effectively in a team setting.Minimum Requirements: Authority to work in AustraliaWorking with Children check (if relevant)Bachelor of Health Science (BioMed/Nursing etc.) or equivalentCurrent unrestricted AHPRA and ASAR registrationCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient careSelf-motivated team playerExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProactive, customer-focused approachHealthscope, where career means more! If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience against the current allied health professionals Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria – Allied Health Professionals Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $44.54 and $53.58 per hour + superannuation) More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority.
