We're on the lookout for compassionate, dedicated, and driven people to join our team.
What you'll do Foster independence and empower our clients to achieve their goals through encouragement and guidance.
Facilitate community participation and social inclusion.
Provide positive support to our clients with their daily activities, such as meal preparation, hygiene routines, and medication management, promoting a sense of stability and routine via in-home and day activity care.
Respond promptly and effectively to any challenges or issues that may arise, ensuring a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for everyone.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individual progress and activities, while adhering to Cara's policies and procedures.
About you A passion for supporting people with disabilities to live their best lives.
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Have a valid work visa and rights to work in Australia.
Hold a current First Aid Certificate, valid full Driver's Licence, and a NDIS Worker clearance.
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent experience (not essential but desirable).
