Our client offers a supportive and safety-conscious work environment where employees can grow and thrive in the industry.DescriptionMonitor Production: Oversee all stages of production to prevent errors and ensure timely corrections are made before they result in costly issues or defects.Pre-Pour Inspections: Conduct pre-pour inspections on forms, reinforcement, steel, and inserts to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of daily production activities, inspections, and project-related documentation.Dimension Verification: Accurately measure and verify all dimensions of cast-in embeds and finished products, ensuring they align with project requirements.Finished Product Inspection: Inspect completed precast products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Document and follow up on any products that need patching or rework.Marking of Products: Ensure all precast products are properly marked according to company and project requirements.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Quality Control personnel to ensure the quality of products is maintained at every stage of production.Safety Responsibility: Help maintain plant and yard safety in accordance with the company's Safety Manual and in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator.Non-Conformance Documentation: Record and follow up on non-conforming products, ensuring that any issues are addressed and corrected before shipment to clients.ProfileMaintain a high level of safety at all times.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment.Highly motivated and efficient in completing tasks on time.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.Professional attitude, particularly in high-pressure situations.2+ years of experience in the precast concrete industry.Proficient in reading technical drawings and using math and measurements.Ability to inspect complex form set-ups and reinforcing steel placement.Strong understanding of construction specifications.Accurate tape measure reading skills.Job OfferShift times from 6:00AM - 3:00PM$48.50 per hourNorthern Suburbs location!
