The role Adbri is looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Capex Accounting and Reporting Manager to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on providing structure and oversight in Capex accounting and reporting. You will work closely with Project Managers to manage project cost performance, ensuring accurate budget tracking, forecasting, accruals, cash flow monitoring, and payment processing. As the primary financial liaison for capital projects, you'll implement systems that promote transparency, timely reporting, and a single source of truth for all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities Implement rigorous project cost control, aligning budgets, forecasts, and commitments for capital projects across multiple divisions. Generate key KPI reports monthly, assess costs-to-complete, and make recommendations on budget forecasting. Support capital allocation decisions and scenario planning for annual depreciation/amortisation profiles. Enforce financial policies and internal controls, ensuring adherence to corporate standards (including SOX). Manage SAP coding structures, asset verification programs, and month-end close processes for project costs. Serve as a central resource for project cost data, variance analysis, and risk mitigation, fostering close partnerships with Project Managers and stakeholders. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and meet all deadlines. Act as a liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance and providing necessary support. What You Need to Succeed Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting, along with a CA or CPA certification. At least 5 years in Capex management, including record-to-report processes, within a large capital-intensive environment. Strong proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with SAP, SAC, and Power BI is advantageous. Excellent communication and decision-making abilities with a self-motivated, proactive approach to challenges. High accuracy in month-end close processes and financial reporting. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while also being a reliable team member.
