Location: Parramatta and other locations as requiredSalary: $136,027.21 + SuperannuationEmployment Type: PermanentWe are excited to invite applications for the position of Capacity Planner within our Customer Operations team. The Capacity Planner optimises the utilisation of labour, major and minor plant, and equipment (P&E) to ensure operations and maintenance programs on the Sydney Water network are delivered at optimum cost to meet service levels and priorities.About the roleThe role is responsible for:Conducting resource demand and supply forecasting, analysis and resource capacity planning for allocated teams.Providing resource capacity and capability forecast information to Workforce Planning and Frontline Capability teams to assist in longer term workforce plans.Optimising resource utilisation for networks maintenance and operations field crews – having a significant impact on operational costs.Providing demand forecasting information for the continuous improvement of rosters to ensure we meet both operational and financial targets for our teams.Preparing, updating and maintaining the rolling 3-to 24-month Capacity Plan (for each resource type, labour, location requirements, and major and minor P&E).About youWe are looking for candidates who possess:A tertiary qualification in engineering or science, or experience deemed equivalent.Broad experience in manufacturing or utility network operations and maintenance/renewals planning and scheduling (desirable).Demonstrated experience in resource capacity demand forecasting and planning.Demonstrated experience in building effective business and stakeholder relationships including experience in influencing senior management and stakeholders.Process improvement skills.Ability to be flexible in managing work and resources.Applications close: Friday 8th November 2024.
