(Pro-rata) Permanent Part Time position working 16 hours per week Overview A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the dedicated Chemotherapy team with Gawler Health Service. As the Nurse Consultant - Cancer Coordinator, you will provide clinical nursing expertise to provide comprehensive coordination of care for people with cancer. The role is focused on providing supporting nursing care that is delivered across the care continuum in a seamless and continuous pattern for the individual; ensuring that the care and services provided are based on best practice principles and delivered in accordance with the policies and procedures of Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN). The Nurse Consultant will identify, advocate for and implement improvements in multidisciplinary cancer care coordination to achieve the best possible care outcomes. This is achieved by working in a multi-disciplinary collaborative model with a wide range of health service professionals and providers including hospitals, community health, Consultants and General Practitioners and private providers.
