Two fixed term opportunities exist to join the Portfolio Communications Early Childhood Education as a Campaign Manager - 1 x Campaign Manager to 30 June 2026 & 1 x Campaign Manager 30 June 2027.
Our Division The Communications Division leads, shapes and supports communication of Victorian Government priorities for early childhood development and school education. The Division is responsible for taking carriage of the Government's Education State vision by engaging with Victorians on education issues and services. The Division tells these stories through media relations, internal and external communications, branding, digital channels, public affairs, and event management.

Public Communications ServicesDigital and Creative ServicesAbout the Role The Campaign Manager plays a key role in the development, delivery, and evaluation of strategic communications plans and campaigns across the early childhood and school portfolio teams. The Campaign Manager will lead the delivery of best practice and evidence-based communications that concisely communicates the education and training narrative to our staff and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities Include: Working with various business areas across the Department to plan and execute communications, marketing campaigns, and communications activities that deliver communications to early childhood education, schools, public, and internal audiences.Managing relationships with and between program and policy areas, and creating positive and respectful relationships.Providing expert advice in planning and delivering communications and marketing activities.Supporting the team to develop new and innovative ways to communicate across our channels.Supporting the strategic direction of the portfolio and the Communications Division by delivering key communications outcomes that support the Department and education.Working across the Communications Division to ensure communication strategies are implemented effectively.Project managing relationships with business areas and external providers.Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
