Within Mahlab, Mahlab Publishing is one of the agency's core service divisions, producing world-class content for industry and member bodies across a wide range of professions.
Our clients include the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, Engineers Australia, the Australian HR Institute, the Institute of Public Accountants, and others. We are now looking for a super organised, savvy Campaign Executive with 1-2 years experience to work within Mahlab's Publishing unit.
This role supports our advertising clients and internal teams by being the driving force that makes advertising campaigns happen, ensuring that campaigns and projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
This role will see you: Ensure all advertisements are in place for e-newsletters, print magazines and websites across all our publishing clientsSupport the advertising sales team in project scoping (obtaining quotes, developing timelines, booking resources.
)Manage the production process of sponsored/branded content through the agency and with external contributors.Support the advertising sales team across pre- and post-sales activities, including inventory management, generating booking confirmations, collecting artwork, and reporting.Become adept at using our CRM (Ad Sales Genius) to support sales efforts.Ensure all advertising data, insert briefs and quantities data is received and filed on time.Provide post-campaign results to advertisers and agencies.Attend project and campaign briefing sessions.Input production costs into Workbook and reconciling against Ad Sales Genius.Liaise with stakeholders across all Publishing clients to ensure open lines of communication through the sales cycle with advertisers.Manage the print production and mailing process end to endYou may also support the Publishing Director in general account management tasks from time to time.The ideal person will enjoy supporting a range of production-led projects and campaigns for both Advertising and Publishing clients.
You will have the ability to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, and can manage timelines and budgets effectively.
Liaising with internal teams and external contributors is where you excel, keeping your projects and campaigns moving in the right direction.
Is this you? Has 1-2 years experience in a similar role within the publishing or media industry.Has accuracy and attention to detail in your work, with strong organisational and prioritisation skillsDelivers projects and campaigns on time and on budgetIs self-driven, proactive and accountable which results in happy clientsHas the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersHas the ability to find efficiencies in production workflows and can provide recommendations on how processes may be improved or automated using technologyIf so, we would love to hear from you.
