About the role Calvary is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit (DSU/DOSA) team, within the Peri-operative Suite at St Vincent's Hospital.
St Vincent's theatre specializes in Gynaecological, Dental, Plastics, Urology and General surgery.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate pre & post operative nursing care in collaboration with the patient and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Take an active role in the coordination of nursing cares and be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.
What you bring A minimum of 1 year experience in nursing post-graduation.
Current APHRA certification.
Ability and drive to be adaptable and a 'Team Player'.
Driven to learn and expand your own knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation, demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
