This Occupational Therapy Position is a Professional Level 3 Full-time permanent position (38 hours a week) based at St Johns Calvary in Hobart. Depending on level of experience, a Professional Level 2, 3 or 4 would be considered.
Your main duties will include:
Conduct autonomous OT specific assessments and interventions in accordance with professional standards. Work as an effective member of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and provide coordination to the Occupational Therapy team as and when required. Supervise, support, train and provide clinical leadership to more junior Occupational Therapists, students and Therapy Assistants as required. Participate in OT service development, planning, evaluation and promotion. About you
Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and registered with AHPRA. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation, patient-centred care and OT practice. Demonstrated ability to provide professional leadership, support and supervision to Occupational Therapists, therapy assistants and students, and other team members as appropriate. Ability to be flexible, adaptive and innovative in approaches to service delivery. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Current Driver's License.
