Due to ongoing technology uplifts, there is an exciting opportunity for an ICT System Administrator to join the team and ensure the reliable and efficient functioning of the ICT infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake general administration tasks Gather, analyse and report on system performance Troubleshoot user issues and can effectively communicate in both written and verbal correspondence Develop and implement support resources and communication artefacts to be used across a broad range of internal and external channels Support technology configuration and infrastructure, delivering ICT services and support, data integrity and security, system testing and managing update cycles Monitor service delivery tool for incoming requests and incidents Resolve user tickets and escalations Oversee system upgrades and rollouts including testing and debugging system to ensure the smooth implementation of the system and minimal disruption to operations.
Troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving, and repairing server-related hardware and software malfunctions, encompassing workstations and communication infrastructure Provide project support across multiple streams of work across the team Work closely with vendors to raise tickets, negotiate changes and conduct thorough testing, ensuring seamless integration of requested alterations.
Key Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training Strong proficiency in resolving user tickets and escalations, with excellent problem-solving skills Experience in overseeing system upgrades and rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption Ability to provide effective training to users and promote system proficiency Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, prioritisation, and management Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
What's on Offer:
12 month contract + 12 month extension Hourly rate of $45 - $50 per hour incl.
Super Opportunity to obtain an AGSVA Baseline clearance Hybrid working arrangement Can be based in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA Candidates who currently have Baseline Clearance Security Clearances are highly desirable.
