NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort offers an extensive range of camp/caravan sites and accommodation options, from beachfront townhouses to safari tents and our stylish glamtainers! Nestled between the bush and absolute beachfront, we offer a multitude of facilities for the young and young at heart; resort-style pools, a splash park, kids club including the Bear Grylls Survival Academy and an onsite café.

Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do: A Full Time salaried opportunity, reporting to the Cafe Manager, you will assist in guiding the Cafe team to deliver exceptional service to our resort guests. Shifts can be rostered across a 7-day period and generally for an 8-hour shift anytime between the Cafe opening hours of 7am - 7pm. Weekend and Public Holiday availability is required.
You will assist with:
Basic food prep and cookingWorking alongside the Cafe Manager, Resort Manager and Department HeadsStock take, ordering and rostering duties to support the Cafe ManagerTraining and guiding the Cafe team to ensure service standards are metBarista duties as requiredOther duties as may be required from time to time due to operational needs.What You'll Bring: Ideally, you will have previously had extensive experience in a Cafe or Bistro setting and you are now ready to move into a role where no one day will ever be the same. Your hands-on experience will assist in leading and mentoring the department to success.
Experience in a cafe/bistro/restaurant and/or previous customer service experience.Food Safety CertificateOutstanding guest relations and communication skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgroundsKnowledge of and ability to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.Ability to maintain control and composure in difficult situationsWhat's in it for you?
