We are seeking an experienced multi-site Café Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mrs Jones Kitchen cafés and kiosks across the Redlands, Gold Coast, and Scenic Rim. You'll play a pivotal role in the continued success and growth of our cafés. To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, reliable, creative, and professional with strong communication skills to lead and inspire our teams across the cafés within our supermarkets.We are a well-established and rapidly growing business located in the bayside of Brisbane. Our ethos is to provide our community with local produce, gourmet delicacies, and innovative supermarket concepts that encapsulate our ethos of Fresh. Local. Value. We are always developing new stores, so our group of cafés and kiosks will grow over time.Your key responsibilitiesOversee the daily running of all cafés in collaboration with our Café ManagersContribute and execute seasonal menu's across all cafésDrive operational compliance and growth of our cafés, ensuring KPI's are met and exceededProvide consistency across all cafés in the areas of, but not limited to:Product rangeMerchandisingPricingQualityCleanlinessCustomer ServiceProactive leadership, training, coaching, and development of our Café Managers and their teamsCreate, maintain, and execute efficient processes and procedures including food safety and cleanlinessContinually review, monitor, and improve operations, ensuring consistency and a customer-led focusWhat you'll need to succeedA proven track record of leading and managing multiple team members across multi-sites with some experience setting up new hospitality businessExperience managing Baristas and other trade-qualified team membersAble to deliver an exceptional customer service experienceBe willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team, including serving customers and preparing coffee orders so barista experience and coffee knowledge is a mustAbility to align, lead, empower, and support team members, by providing direction, encouragement, feedback, recognition, and setting clear expectationsProvide continuous training and development for team members in all aspects of business operationsAchieve budgeted sales, as well as other KPIs, whilst controlling expensesA passion to drive all operational standards, striving for best practice in: inventory management, visual merchandising, loss prevention, Food Safety, WH&S and retail administrationThe PerksWe offer a competitive hourly rate with 5% discount on purchases across our storesEnjoy an annual family shopping night with exclusive discounts just for you and your familyDiscounts and health perks with BUPA Private Health InsuranceBe a part of a community focused business who prides themselves on supporting local charities and familiesFlexible working hours and work-life balanceThis position would be suited to a candidate who has had previous Area/Regional Management experience within the hospitality industry and who has been both hands-on and managed/overseen a team.This is a full-time salaried position, and you will be required to work across various sites in South East Brisbane/Gold Coast/Scenic Rim.
