YOU will have experience in managing a small to medium team in the café, food, restaurant, or retail space.
You preferably have experience with coffee, maybe you have been a barista that has moved into management.

So, what you will need to bring to the role:
· People Management – including rosters and managing wage % to sales.
· Opening and closing processes and procedures
· Managing fresh food in a retail environment
· Managing a team for great customer service
· Training and development – as a team and one on one coaching
· Creating a positive environment and team culture within your café
· Excellent communication skills with team and support team
What might a typical week look like in this role?
· Managing, training, and supporting your team on shift
· Focusing on, driving the customer experience, and ensuring product quality
· Managing store performance including stock control and ordering, cost of goods, labour management and performance, reporting on sales
· Managing compliance within the business including food safety and work health and safety, along with company procedures
· Cash management

· 2+ years' experience a supervisory management role preferably in food or hospo.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Barista, Assistant Manager, Catering Supervisor, Baker, Café Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for an energetic, customer serviced focused experienced café all rounder.
Interview required, Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
To succeed in this role you will have:
Hospitality experience
Passion for the service industry and an interest in food/baking/artisan bread/pastry/coffee
Can-do attitude is essential
Customer service excellence and proactive approach to creating a warm and friendly community environment
Can work quickly and efficiently
Punctual, well-presented & safety conscious
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Some early morning starts (5 am)
Weekend work 1 day over the weekend and mid week availability
A valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate
A valid First Aid certificate
