About the role 'Where is my Coffee' is an innovative café supporting people with disabilities to grow their job skills and independence in a real-life work environment. A social enterprise café with the aim to help people with a disability on their journey to finding paid employment. This is a casual position reporting to the Café Community Team Leader.
About you You will have previous experience in hospitality, as a barista, and in café food and beverage preparation, presentation, and serving. Your customer service skills will be outstanding, and your coffee-making skills exemplary. Previous experience working in the disability sector is highly regarded.
You will have an interest in working with people with disabilities and developing their skills, providing hands-on mentoring to people participating in our trainee program to build their self-confidence, barista, and customer service skills that will improve their independence and chances of securing employment.

Skills, Experience & Requirements Experience in the hospitality industry as a barista and in food preparation. Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers. Ability to share your knowledge and upskill others. Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability or experience in the disability sector. Current Food Safety Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain). Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or willing to obtain). Experience in providing personal care to individuals with a disability. Evidence of relevant vaccinations including flu vaccination & COVID.
