Casual Position | Work while the kids are at school Hourly rate range $24 - $27 per hour + casual loading (depending on experience) Increase your take home pay with Salary Packaging (conditions apply) About your new role: As a Café Attendant in the Terrace Café within our Aminya Retirement Village, you will support all staff and the Café Manager by ensuring the café runs smoothly. This involves regular interaction with people, so a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. We are seeking someone available for a minimum of two days per week, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, with flexibility to cover personal and annual leave as needed.

Preparing and serving food and drinks Taking orders Operating a point of sale terminal and EFTPOS machine Handling cash Performing café cleaning duties Cleaning coffee machines and equipment Refilling drink fridges and snacks Maintaining service area to food safety standards Supporting the Café Team with a "can do" attitude Comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures Skills and Experience: Essential: Previous experience in food preparation, presentation, and coffee making Cash handling and EFTPOS experience Strong customer service skills Flexible with availability to cover personal and annual leave when required Desirable: Working knowledge and understanding of kitchen hygiene principles Safe Food Handling Certificate Current First Aid Certificate Barista Certificate Conditions of Employment: Reference Checks National Police Clearance Pre Employment Medical About Us: Baptistcare supports thousands of people across 90 locations in NSW, WA and the ACT.
