Chief Executive Officer | Newly Renovated Tamworth Club | $150k $140,000 - $160,000 a year

Join a successful and modern medium size club located in Tamworth NSW as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) looking after a membership of over 3,000. The Club has built a brand new kitchen and renovated the Clubhouse, it provides a gaming installation of 32 EGMs, TAB, Keno and popular restaurant. In addition, the Club has a small Bowls retail outlet and a Greens Maintenance & Renovation Contracting business.
The Club is in a solid financial position and, with the assistance of a new CEO, they are looking to continue the ongoing success by delivering on the agreed strategic plan led by their progressive and cohesive Board of Directors.
This is a great opportunity to work hand in hand with the Board and management team, where you will use and sharpen the management skills you have acquired in previous roles, and ensure this Club continues to be an ongoing success within the local community.
The successful applicant will bring a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business. You will be highly personable, able to represent the Club in a professional way within the local community. You will be a person who understands that being strongly principled, humanistic and ethical, will ensure that the Club is recognised as the hub of the community, as well as attract staff and management who have a positive and constructive outlook on their roles.
To be successful in this role you will bring: Experience at a senior management level within the club industry. A thorough knowledge of all Club Operations including Gaming, Food, Beverage & Functions. Experience in accounts functions and reporting. Strong computer literacy - with experience with Accounting, Office and Gaming software is essential. Sound knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements in relation to Clubs. Ability to lead, train and motivate a dynamic service team. Sound organisational skills. Hands on approach. Experience with marketing and promotions. Ability to work collaboratively with the Board. Current RSA and RCG Certificates (or ability to obtain). Flexibility to work when the business requires you. To apply online, please click on the apply button.
