Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon, Chahoya.
We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Electrician. You will be part of our Engineering department that is made up of a variety of trade staff.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Maintenance of exit and emergency lighting with 6 monthly testing and servicing; Ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on all laundry and kitchen equipment; RCD testing on all electrical switchboards; Performing monthly generator servicing; UPS testing and maintenance; Repair and replacement of smoke alarm systems; Attending to any resort after hour call outs as required. The required skills and experience for this role include:
A Western Australian "A" grade Electrical License; A current manual driver's license; Electrical Contractors ticket preferred; The ability to prioritize your work load and communicate effectively at all levels; Previous experience in a similar role within a Hotel or Resort environment is desirable.
