As an Apprentice Cabinet Maker with Action, you'll:
Collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals to master the art of designing, constructing, and installing custom cabinetry and furniture in the residential and commercial industries. This hands-on experience will expose you to various tools and materials, allowing you to craft unique, high-quality pieces tailored to clients' needs.You will be presented with opportunities to be involved in the construction and installation processes of kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and shop and office fitouts.Navigate a dynamic work environment, engaging in both factory and on-site tasks depending on the project. Guided by skilled tradespeople, you'll:
Learn to construct and install a variety of custom cabinets and joinery through factory and on-site projects.Use of saws, chisels, and power tools to mark, cut, and shape wood.Measure and calculate quantities. Perfect trimming and gluing joints.Learn how to use and maintain a variety of machines that are involved in the manufacturing process.Analyse designs, drawings, and parts to determine specifications.Shape and fit pieces of wood, fitting hinges, drawers, and shelves.Deliver and install finished products on-site. To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you should:
Possess a keen interest for woodworking and craftsmanship.Demonstrate interest and commitment to completing an apprenticeship.Hold a Driver's License and have your own reliable vehicle.Be physically fit, self-disciplined, and detail oriented.
