What you'll be doing We have some exciting opportunities available for a driven and collaborative Buying Assistant within our Homeware team! This is a great chance to take your passion for Retail to a whole new level as well as advancing your career in Buying. These roles also provide an opportunity to progress into our fantastic Merchandise Development Programme (MDP).

As a Buyers Assistant working for Kmart, you will support our Buyers in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customers' lives.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
Managing the product registration process after sign off - from keycode creationSupporting the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up to date and maintained.Liaising with and supporting a local supply baseProviding market insights by assessing the competitive set on a regular basis and feedback to the team.Managing all marketing and coordination of samples for all advertising, including onlineAttending Supplier Sourcing meetings with the buyer and assisting in range strategy planningBeing the first point of contact for department queriesTo be successful in this role: We're looking for a driven, efficient and enthusiastic individual who will bring a curious mind-set and a passion for all things Kmart! You love delivering product, customers are always front of mind, and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths. We'd also love you to have:
