About the Role and What we're looking for:
Qualifications
Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
A current and valid BlueCard First Aid & CPR certificate (including training in asthma and anaphylaxis) Essential Skills and Attributes
In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the learning environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.
Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.
Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader or similar role in an early childhood setting.
Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.
Proficiency in using Storypark for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.
