WA Plantation Resources (WAPRES) is a leading plantation manager, wood fibre processor and exporter in the South-West of WA.We are looking for an experienced business systems analyst to take ownership of the systems maintenance and development, with the ability to project manage the implementation of software solutions and provide support to end users.The key responsibilities of this role include:Maintain maximum systems availability and performance across multiple platforms, including Pronto ERP, Line-of-business Applications, SQL databases, ACRGIS, and Red Hat Linux.Analyse business processes within the forestry industry to identify opportunities for improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reductions.Develop, implement, and support software solutions, including Pronto ERP, Reporting, and ACRGIS, tailored to meet business needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.Troubleshoot and collaborate with systems solution providers to resolve issues promptly.Assist in the preparation of the annual ITC budget and strategic planning.Manage IT business system expenses in line with the approved budget.Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making.Provide software training and support to end users, ensuring effective use of systems.Ensure adherence to safe work practices and promote a culture of safety.Lead continuous improvement initiatives for system solutions and business processes.Maintain supplier and support relationships to ensure service continuity and effective resolution of issues.The ideal candidate will have:Holds tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field.Has experience with ERP Software, SQL, ACRGIS, or Red Hat Linux.Has previous experience in a corporate or forestry environment.Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Has a high level of attention to detail.Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.To be considered for this role, please submit a cover letter advising the key result areas above and a current resume, by clicking on the QUICK APPLY button above.Applications close Friday 22nd November 2024 unless a suitable applicant is found prior to this date.
