About the role The Business Support Officer will be the first point of contact for our company, welcoming clients and staff, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support across the organisation.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
This role is office based on site in Circular Quay, Monday to Friday.
You will be reporting into the Regional Business Manager, NSW.
Key responsibilities As the Business Support Officer, you will be accountable for:
Covering the reception desk while ensuring that all office amenities, supplies, and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Coordinating facilities and general building maintenance. Ordering catering for the in-house office staff functions and external client meetings. Providing administrative support, such as booking events and arranging catering for external client events. Assisting staff with regular queries around AV and IT support (escalation reporting when required). Aiding technical staff in setting up new projects and subsequent production tasks. We are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer who has: Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with visitors, colleagues and clients. Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and professional attitude with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service. Organisational Skills: Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in tasks such as data entry and scheduling. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, printers and copiers. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Reliability: Punctuality and consistent attendance at the office are crucial for this role. Previous Experience: Previous experience in a business support/administrative or reception role is required. Understanding of/or experience in the property and development industry is desirable.
