Join the Retrieval Services Queensland Administration Team with this exciting permanent opportunity where you will provide efficient and effective human resources, procurement and administrative support to RSQ.
The roleReporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be responsible for ensuring staff are supported and that operations are meeting the organisational requirements through payroll, recruitment and staff onboarding, data compliance, functioning resources, clear processes, educational and secretariat support.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated:
Sound knowledge of Queensland Government purchasing policies and procedures or demonstrated ability to acquire the skills.Sound knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures and proficient use of the myHR program or demonstrated ability to acquire the skills.Sound knowledge of Travel policies and procedures and proficient use of the Corporate Travel Management booking system or demonstrated ability to acquire the skills.Well-developed interpersonal communication, consultation, and participative decision-making skills to work effectively within a team.Proven ability to support and mentor staff and contribute to ongoing individual and team development and effectiveness and the achievement of agreed performance objectives.Provide administrative support including developing, organising, setting up and managing training, conferences, meetings and maintain resources and other office equipment and systems.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.

The QAS Division operates as a statewide service within the Department of Health and is accountable for the delivery of pre-hospital ambulance response services, emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital patient care and transport services, inter-facility ambulance transport, aeromedical retrieval services, emergency telehealth clinical support models, confidential health assessment and information services, casualty room services and planning and coordination of multi-casualty incidents and disasters to the Queensland community.
