The Business Support Manager provides Executive Assistant, strategic and operational support to the CIO for Technology General Manager along with management and coordination of activities critical to the effectiveness of this role.
This is a role requiring an expert level of stakeholder engagement, organisation and strategic planning.
The role is engaged in a broad range of matters including managing governance, risk, finance and HR activities on behalf of CIO for Technology General Manager.
The Business Support Manager reports directly to the CIO for Technology General Manager, is required to build strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and operate effectively across a broad range of businesses and disciplines. An ability to master detail and work with ambiguity is required. The role requires strong judgement and commercial acumen with the ability to operate as a self-starter with limited support.
This is a permanent role based at South Eveleigh (The Foundry). You will be required to work from other locations from time to time. We also offer remote working and flexible workspace.
Do work that matters Provide efficient and professional delivery of administration and business support working very closely with the CTO Executive Assistant team and the wider Executive Assistant group within CBA.Diary and inbox management - scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring an efficient use of their time.Participate in meetings and coordinate agendas, action and tracking.Arrange events/functions/off-sites/team building events, including catering where required.Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements.Provide support in executing accountabilities.Co-ordinate the planning, development and review of Management materials for CTO/CIO for Tech related forums.Work closely with the CIO for Technology leadership team and other senior stakeholders across the Group.Work closely with the Finance team to support CIO for Tech budget, expenses, annual planning and productivity plans.Work with the CIO for Technology leadership team and other senior staff on ad hoc projects, often including confidential/sensitive matters.Prepare documents and materials for the CIO for Technology General Manager and correspondence to stakeholders as required. About you Strong stakeholder management experience at a Senior Executive level.Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively, exercising judgement in an ambiguous environment.A strong orientation to execution, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.Demonstrated capability in managing both the detail and holding the strategic view.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish collaborative working relationships and influence & negotiate at all levels.Resilience and ability to demonstrate composure in a high intensity environment.Understanding of Corporate Governance.Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in business contexts.Ability to manage and prioritise multiple initiatives in a fast paced and changing environment - manage workflow, priorities, work well under pressure and be flexible.Superior skills in Microsoft Office suite.
