Business Support Advisor, Environment And Science

Some of your responsibilities will include:• Working autonomously and in collaboration with the PARIS System Manager, ITP and Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (system development) and Division staff to administer and co-ordinate PARIS tasks relating to contract management and general system support.• Providing financial and administration advice, training and guidance to management and staff within the Science Division, focusing on the PARIS system functions, processes and approval processes.• Reviewing and evaluating administrative reporting and business systems and recommend improvements to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.• Working with Principal Science Advisor (PARIS System Manager) and Business Services to review and develop as needed procedures and documentation for key Science Division contract and project management processes.• Fostering a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.Applications to remain current for 12 months
