We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance Operations team as a Business Solutions Specialist. The role is responsible for supporting all efm functions, working closely with our Technology Services partner (Flip), to facilitate the successful completion of systems and process-based projects that produce a high return on investment to customer and the business.
The role will have the opportunity to add value by solving business problems relating to automating, systemising or streamlining processes with customer and carrier solutions, or internally for our teams across a range of cross-functional procedures and knowledge bases.
As the Business Solutions Specialist, you will: Support internal team members across a range of business systems solutions, including kick-off, enhancement, integrations, alterations and testing of system configurations. Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the business and Technology teams and ensure regular communication to ensure applications are being utilised effectively and projects prioritized appropriately. Act as a technical liaison for system enhancements and updates; participating in the idea validation, discovery, design, testing and implementation phases. Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to systems and process requirements gathering, implementation and embedment. Consider cross-functional dependencies and implications on processes or changes, to minimise risk of alternative issues, minimal disruption and ensure business-wide benefit and ability to maximise target achievement. Ensure robust systems and controls are in place, including maintaining documented process maps/procedure manuals of all processes and relevant training to the broader business. Submit clear and actionable business cases to technology teams for efficient and successful completion. Create and complete accurate and timely reporting as relevant to the Support Services function. We are looking for: 2+ years of experience in Project Management and Analysis. Tertiary level education in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Commerce or similar. Business Analyst or similar subject-matter expertise. Foundation programming or information technology knowledge. Proven track record in identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ability and willingness to take a practical approach and undertake work at an operational level. Strong system, data and analytical skills to determine trends or areas requiring corrective action.
