Position Overview:

The role is to manage the team and the client base and to ensure that a best practice approach is taken to all business services work.

Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial reports including trial balance and statements of financial performance and positionPreparation of work papers and filesAnalysis of financial statements and provision of explanations of key mattersUpdating of permanent tax filesIdentification of tax compliance and planning issuesResolution of tax issuesCalculation of taxable income and reconciliation to financial statementsPreparation and finalisation of tax returns and BASCompletion of management account checklistIdentification of efficiency gains on assignmentIdentification and resolution of tax planning issuesPreparation of finance submissionsManage clients and the team for which you are directly responsibleLiaise with clients in the preparation of accounts and tax returnsReview of accounting files, income tax returns, and preparation of financial reports and budgetsPreparation of budgets and cash flows including identifying key issues to be highlighted for discussion with the Director and clientWeekly management of workflow for IntermediatePerformance management, counselling, guidance, and development of Intermediate team membersRequirements: Minimum 6 years of experience in business services and tax.CA or CPA qualified.Proficiency in XERO and MYOB software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Energetic, ambitious, and able to think strategically.Benefits: Competitive salary of $130k - $150k packageCareer path to Snr Manager > Director > PartnerSupportive and collaborative work environment.WFH and office "core hours" flexibilityPeriodic events to celebrate and build/strengthen relationshipsIf you are a motivated and ambitious individual looking to take the next step in your career, hit the apply button now for this exciting opportunity.
