About the job: As an experienced member of our Business Services team, your job will involve: Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships and Individuals.
Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns and activity statements.
Communication with the ATO in relation to various client matters, e.g.
payment arrangements, remissions, extensions etc.
Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants.
Use of Xero, XPM and FYI docs.
Liaising with clients and other external service providers.
About you: The qualities and qualifications we're looking for include: Relevant tertiary qualification.
Intention to complete CA/CPA qualification.
At least 1-2 years of experience in public practice accounting.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic tax compliance, e.g.
returns and statements.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess the risks for clients before decision making.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers.
