We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Business Partner, Compliance, to support the implementation of our enterprise-wide Compliance Management Framework. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring that Equity Trustees has a strong and effective system for monitoring compliance obligations and controls.
As the trusted Business Partner and 2nd line adviser, you'll work closely with our Corporate Trustee Services (CTS) business unit, providing expert guidance and support. Beyond this, you'll take ownership and act as the subject matter expert for key policies and frameworks across the broader EQT Group.
About the role:
Serve as
the primary Business Partner for CTS, offering compliance advice and
support.
Advise
the CTS business unit on compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring
adherence to the 3 Lines of Defence model and strong client relationships.
Oversee
the Conflicts Management Framework, compliance training, incident and
breach management, complaints handling, and AML/CTF monitoring.
Collaborate
with other Compliance Partners and the Risk team to ensure a unified
approach to compliance and governance.
Build
and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contributing to projects and
resolving conflicts.
Ensure
compliance with legislation, conduct control testing, manage incidents,
and guide complaint resolution.
What you'll need to succeed:
Proven
experience as a Risk/Compliance Manager, with a strong track record of
delivering results.
Deep
expertise in the Financial Services sector, particularly within the
Superannuation industry.
In-depth
understanding of the Corporations Act and SIS Act, and how these apply to
the operations of the EQT Group.
Comprehensive
knowledge of the regulatory environment in which EQT Group operates.
Familiarity
with automated compliance systems, with the ability to leverage technology
for efficient monitoring and reporting.
