How you will create an impact Business Package is a strategically important product within AIG Australia, and we are seeking to invest in our team and systems to maximize the growth opportunity.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Property & Business Package Australia, this role is an integral part of AIG's go to market growth strategy for our Business Package product offering. Key accountabilities will include but not limited to: Overall responsibility for the financial management and achievement of budget for Business Package profit centre including profitability, productivity, direct and indirect costs, cash flow, investment, and expense managementDefine local underwriting appetite within AIG guidelines using underwriting authority (local delegation) and portfolio management skill sets to achieve Risk Adjusted Profit targets as set by the companyEstablish and control the Business Package Strategic plan – to achieve revenue and expense targetsIdentify, support, and contribute to internal and external strategies that align Business Package product offerings and grow AIG multinational businessIdentifying growth opportunities, new business segments, new product opportunities to support growth and objectivesEstablish yourself with clients, agents, brokers to be seen as a strategic thought leader in the field of Business Package product offering and in so doing promote AIG as the insurance provider of choiceDevelop customer engagement and go-to market strategy for the Business Package business and where necessary develop segment specific customer value propositionCollaboratively develop and execute a marketing strategy and plan promoting our products, services and expertise. To include creation and dissemination of marketing materials, planned marketing events and seminars, producer training sessions and informal presentations to producersDevelop and maintain solid working relationships with all major clients, agents, brokers and other stakeholders and ensure superior quality of product and service outcomesActively engage in Company-wide broker/agent development plans so that AIG gains the maximum share of available profitable income from key/potential producersMonitor local execution of customer engagement strategy and ensure consistency and adherence to global guardrailsUse data and analytics and provide client specific insights such as pricing, risk appetite, profitability and recommendations to our brokers and customers to improve the management of riskDrive a team culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, diversity and inclusion, exemplary conduct, employee engagement and performance excellenceUp-skill, engage and empower talent to support our growing business needsWhat you'll need to succeed A commercial thinker with deep knowledge of insurance and financial services industry; an ability to determine how external changes or decisions will impact the company, and plan accordingly.
