About the Tasmanian State ServiceThe Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
Provide support and advice to the Area Manager OHST on establishment management, including recruitment, orientation, contract management, and leave analysis and provide information, support, and advice to relevant stakeholders.Coordinate asset and facilities management including related purchasing functions within OHST, ensuring appropriate legislation and guidelines are followed.Undertake project work, high-level analysis and quality assurance checks on a range of business processes and service activities including, but not limited to, service performance and improvement.Assist the Area Manager OHST in the investigation and management of incidents and consumer feedback.Provide high-level clerical and administrative support as required on OHST business activities including the timely preparation and distribution of documents.Participate in the development and maintenance of OHST policies and procedures and their dissemination to relevant staff.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
This position is based in the northern region, however, will be predominantly based in Launceston area - in particular the Northern Dental Centre.This role is in a multi-disciplinary dental team.The working days for this position are Monday to Friday.Details of Appointment Permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight/as and when required, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.Salary: $95,393 - $100,067 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
