This position will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.
This position is on a Part-time (40-hour fortnightly) basis.
Your Role in Action In accordance with defined processes and work instructions, support the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking document and drawing control administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawings, scanning and archiving.Delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.Maintaining a safe working environment.Act as central point of contact for customers ensuring enquiries are redirected appropriately and concluded to customers' satisfaction (Field Operations) OR process queries and assist communication with relevant parts of the organisation and external stakeholders (Customer Service).The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain strong customer focus.Process Ariba financial & requisitioning transactions.Order permits and reports to enable work to be completed by the area as required e.g.
: dial before you dig.Finalise work order completion including scanning of documents, slippage codes etc.Run/produce standard business reports.Maintain asset register - registration, update, and record inspection due dates.Maintain suitable levels of stationery, IT equipment etc., and ordering of PPE & PPC, as required.Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Use of relevant Western Power systems, as required to perform the role.What Makes You a Great Fit 5+ years demonstrated experience in provided administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.Experience and proficiency in computerized office systems.Experience in cost management, analysis, estimating coordination, reporting and process improvement.Sound written and verbal communication skills.Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused business support services.Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
