About Us Launched in 2015, Credit Savvy is a digital-only business that helps Australians to access, understand, leverage, and protect their credit reputation. Our free online service is open to all who want to improve their financial wellbeing. In 2022, we expanded our offering to include SavvyShield, an Australian-first feature to prevent new credit fraud by implementing a credit file ban. We also offer part of our service in the CommBank App through the CommBank Credit Score Hub. We are part of Commonwealth Bank's x15ventures, and it is our mission to help everyday Australians understand credit better and unlock their financial potential. The Role We're on the lookout for a savvy Business Operations Associate to join our small, passionate team to support our mission: help Australians take control of their credit life and achieve their financial goals. The Business Operations Associate will be a natural all-rounder that delivers exceptional service to our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Work directly with our commercial partners at CommBank and beyond. Contribute to weekly and monthly financial reporting on business-wide performance. Support and execute on marketing and sales email campaigns. Drive and uplift our payment and invoicing requirements, to both suppliers and commercial partners. Support our digital customer-service channels – you will respond to a multitude of customer queries demonstrating empathy and our commitment to exceptional customer service. Support our 'People & Culture' initiatives by coordinating team-wide events. Process business tasks and support requests, within agreed turnaround times. The Person We're looking for smart, curious people who bring a 'roll your sleeves up' mindset and want to make a difference. The ideal candidate will bring many of the following attributes and experiences: Demonstrated experience (1-3 years) working in a similar role in a small team environment. Ability to drive and manage competing tasks while prioritising effectively. An ability to synthesise lots of information and focus on key items. Experience developing working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail. Experience in process capture, documentation and improvement. An ability to navigate complex processes and getting 'cut through' when challenged. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity. Experience with email platforms such as SendGrid or Mailchimp would be desirable. Experience in, or an understanding of, consumer finance would be highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in business, economics or related discipline preferred, but not essential. Research shows that people from underrepresented backgrounds sometimes hesitate to apply for roles if they don't meet every requirement. If this is you, don't worry - we still encourage you to apply. We are committed to creating a workplace that supports long-lasting and meaningful careers for everyone, and your unique skills and perspective might be just what we're looking for! Why Join Us?
