Springfield Central State School, a high performing school, with over 1000 students, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and proactive Business Manager to join our team.

About the Role: As Business Manager you will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation and strategic management of the school's administrative functions. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the principal. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will actively participate in team decisions in regard to corporate services on a strategic level as well as daily school operations.
The Business Manager role will encompass a broad range of areas, including finance, human resources, facilities management and administrative support.
Financial Management - you will be responsible for overseeing the school's budget, ensuring maximising resources to support educational objectives. This involves budget planning, monitoring expenditure and financial reporting.Human Resources - you will manage all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, professional development and performance reviews. Fostering a positive work culture and supporting staff development will be key priorities. Facilities Management  - you will oversee the maintenance, safety, and security of the school's infrastructure. This includes managing facilities contracts, coordinating repairs and maintenance to ensure a conducive learning environment for students and a safe working environment for staff. Administrative Support  - you will lead and supervise administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication within the school. This involves managing administrative systems and processes, and supporting various school wide initiatives. Strategic Planning  - collaborating with Executive Leadership Team to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies to advance the school's missions and goals.Overall you will be instrumental in providing strategic leadership and operational excellence to support the school's mission of providing high-quality education.
