Business Manager – Motor Control & Cooling

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Manager to join our team. This role will head up our Motor Control and Cooling Product team. You will be leading a talented team in driving the success of the business unit across various sales channels. We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record in business management, product strategy development, and team leadership. Reporting to the General Manager – Products and Innovative Technologies, this role will be based in Wetherill Park.

Duties & Responsibilities: Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge of the national market for Motor Control & Cooling products, including understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings. Developing and executing technical market strategies tailored to promote Motor Control & Cooling products effectively, aligning with overall business objectives. Cultivating and nurturing strong working relationships with vendors to ensure effective collaboration and support for product procurement and development. Providing support for inventory management related to the Motor Control and Cooling product range, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely supply chain management. Driving & empowering the Product Management team in strong collaboration & effectiveness with Sales Teams. Proactively identifying and sourcing new product opportunities aligned with the business strategy, conducting market research and feasibility assessments. Regular reporting of product business performance, helping to identify key actions with the team, supporting business plans & initiatives for growth. Experience & Attributes: Qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (preferred Mechanical). Previous experience in Motors and/or Motor Control is preferred as a minimum. Marketing qualifications or equivalent experience. Must have strong commercial background to lead a product business unit. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures. Willingness to travel as required. Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software. Proven communication and negotiation skills. Excellent time management and planning skill. Must have the ability to travel to clients. What's on Offer: Monthly BBQs onsite. Service recognition.
