The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading new programs to enhance front office support, managing various tasks in administrative, financial, business controls, and project initiatives. What you'll do:
As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Australia Business Manager across a range of tasks in administrative, financial, business controls, and project initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, Asset Solutions Group, and Treasury teams. Your role will involve daily coordination with head office and regional infrastructure functions such as Operations, Compliance, Technology, Finance, Risk, HR to support the businesses.
Partner with regional and global infrastructure groups to implement strategic plans and projects
Build and maintain various Management Information System (MIS) reports
Design and implement improvements to internal procedures and practices
Update and review Line of Business Policies and Procedures manual as required
Assist with the implementation of growth initiatives that impact the Sydney Branch
Work closely with regional and global Client Services as well as Compliance/AML teams
Facilitate the sourcing and negotiation of office contracts
Maintain business continuity plans and ensure delivery of annual BCP reporting requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in business planning and management. You will have a strong understanding of Capital Markets, Treasury, and Corporate Banking businesses in Australia. Your ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your strong attention to detail, sense of urgency to complete tasks, good organisational skills coupled with strong communication skills will set you apart.
Bachelor Degree or professional qualification with more than 5 years relevant experience
Superior business planning and management skills
Good understanding of Capital Markets, Treasury and Corporate Banking businesses in Australia
Knowledge of APRA, ASIC rules and regulations
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
