Transition to Work (TtW) is the Australian Government's youth specialist employment service that supports young people to develop practical skills to gain employment or connect with education or training. Your opportunity We are in search of an Employment Services specialist to lead our Transition to Work team as a Business Manager. Your unwavering passion and determination will be instrumental in elevating yourtown's presence in Kingaroy. As a driving force, you'll empower our diverse team to provide tailored employment services to both employers and our youth.
In this exciting role, you will:
Support and lead our Kingaroy team to drive site performance, achieve business goals, and drive employer engagement. Achieve set objectives and targets in service delivery, financial management, contract compliance, and employer engagement. Help grow our brand presence by playing a pivotal role in community engagement and increasing our business opportunities. Identify local labour market skill gaps and devise employer-focused strategies to facilitate sustainable employment for disadvantaged young people. Lead and inspire a diverse team and can 'switch' between a strategic and operational focus. What we are looking for Extensive experience within Employment Services, with demonstrated business management and leadership experience. You possess a keen business acumen, with a track record of driving performance, analysing data, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability in leading and managing teams and site resources to achieve set targets and performance objectives. Well-developed communication, liaison, and networking skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across internal and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged young people. Extensive knowledge of youth employment issues including challenges to employment and strategies to overcome challenges.
