The Digital Health Solutions at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity To provide business management functions, contractual, financial and administrative support to the Nursing Director, with respect to the Digital Health Solutions team business performance, financial activities and staffing levels to meet operational objectives.Provide leadership and business management and direction to the Nursing Director and DHS staff ensuring the operational delivery of such services in a professional and proficient manner whilst ensuring that operational efficiencies are maintained.About the Team The Digital Health Solutions team (DHS) support the state-wide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution and other enterprise clinical information systems across all MHHS facilities. The DHS team comprises various skills and professions and has strong collaborative relationships with clinicians, vendors, eHealth Qld and ICT. DHS offers the opportunity to be involved in digital transformation, optimisation, training delivery and system adoption, as well as change management and process redesign.
About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
