As we celebrate 25 years of serving the people and pets of Sydney, ARH has expanded its reach with the opening of our 9th site, a state-of-the-art, 1200m² purpose-built facility launched in October 2023. Ideally located near the M4 and M7 interchange, our hospital is positioned at the heart of the rapidly developing Greater Western Sydney, close to the new international airport and major infrastructure developments.About ARH Western Sydney: A multidisciplinary veterinary hospital offering dedicated Specialist and Emergency services with a 24/7 operation in progress. Our cutting-edge facility features a full diagnostic imaging suite (including High-field MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, and Ultrasound), a modern ICU, three operating theatres, and integrated technology platforms such as RX works and SmartFlow for seamless patient management. Additionally, we offer on-site training facilities, including a wet lab and education centre.The Role: As an integral member of the leadership team, you will drive business development, strategy, and operations at our Western Sydney site. In collaboration with the Operations Manager, veterinarians, nurses, technical staff, and support teams, your role will be to ensure the successful and efficient running of the hospital, while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional patient and client care.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership: Full P&L responsibility for the hospital, including financial reporting and budgetingStrategic Planning: Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies and growth initiativesTeam Support & Development: Work closely with recruitment and front-line teams, supporting staff development and ensuring resource allocation aligns with high patient care standardsMarketing & Partnerships: Coordinate with the National Marketing team to drive marketing efforts and build strong relationships with referring veterinary partnersCollaboration: Liaise with other hospital managers and the broader Greencross leadership team to optimize efficiency, profitability, and business alignmentWhat We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is an influential and approachable leader with demonstrated success in a management role, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industries. You should be adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in identifying and implementing improvements.
