Challenger Services Group is seeking an experienced Business Liaison Officer to join our national team. This role offers the flexibility of working out of our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Gold Coast offices.
The Business Liaison Officer will establish and manage communication between the business and various community groups, organisations, and government departments to foster relationships designed to create employment and training pathways, cross referrals, and business development, all within a robust compliance framework.
The role will have responsibility for setting and implementing organisational goals, priorities, and strategic plans. Key to the position will be driving operational excellence, managing strategic projects, and ensuring timely flow of information between the business, community groups, and government.
Participating in meetings to negotiate agreements among the organization, community, and government entities, identifying potential challenges, and proposing resolutions. Compiling reports and meeting notes while upholding confidentiality standards for all documents.
The successful candidate will identify opportunities for employment and training pipelines, business growth in the government sector, and compliance enhancement with a particular focus on government tenders and projects.

You have proven your success as a Business Liaison Officer within a national or multinational business, with expertise in establishing and facilitating communication between different community groups, organisations, and government departments. You are adept at providing authoritative advice around strategic planning, human resources, and implementing complex projects. You are driven for results, appreciate political sensitivities, and are passionate about championing initiatives to drive a high-performance culture and operational excellence.

Tertiary qualifications in business, communication, compliance, or related fields Demonstrated ability to communicate across various cultural groups and proficiently deal with local, state, and federal government departments Effective project management skills and experience Experience building, galvanising, and motivating engaged teams Proficient at providing advice on cultural matters and sensitivities Experience and expertise in compliance management Adept at strategy development and driving organisational change Skilled at negotiating agreements to achieve superior commercial outcomes Demonstrated ability to critically review and analyse information, proactively solve complex problems, and build strong effective community, client, and stakeholder relationships Technologically proficient and comfortable with presenting high-level reports and analysis to diverse stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Summary of Role Requirements:
