Business Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

Full-time. Avondale University has an opportunity for someone to join the School of Arts and Business as a full-time lecturer for a 2-year contract with the possibility of a 2-year extension, located at the Lake Macquarie campus. What will you do?

As a Lecturer, you will be involved in teaching in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the Avondale Business School. This role also has an academic leadership element, fulfilling the function of course convenor for our Master of Business Administration. Your area of focus will be in teaching units such as: Professional Ethics; Organisations in a Business Context; Strategic Principles; Research projects; Organisational Behaviour; Diversity in Business; and Business Law.

Minimum Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to teach and engage with students in the learning and teaching arena; Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a team member; Aligned with the mission, values and ethos of Avondale; Relevant lecturing experience in tertiary education; Research experience and a history of publications; A statement addressing the selection criteria ; Contact details of three referees.
