We are seeking a Business Interruption (BI) Consultant to join our expanding Claims & Risk team.
The Position: As a Business Interruption (BI) Consultant, you will work closely with the Head of BI Services to quantify financial losses and assist with negotiating and settling claims.
Your typical day will involve:
Analysing financial statements and other information;Preparing loss calculations/models;Reviewing and interpreting insurance policies;Liaising with colleagues, clients, claimants, and their insurance brokers;Writing clear and concise reports. You will have: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting;At least 2-4 years' experience;Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Excellent time management skills. Desirable but not mandatory: Experience in Forensic Accounting, Business Interruption, Loss Adjusting or Claims Preparation;Qualified or working towards CA/CPA.
