It helps the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries to reach its mission to enable dynamic and inclusive communities and support the WA economy through effective regulation and the facilitation of outstanding sporting and cultural experiences and opportunities.
About the roleWe are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team to provide business intelligence solutions and support self-service reporting frameworks that meet business and information needs.
We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
As Business Intelligence Developer, you will identify business intelligence requirements, develop reports and undertake data analysis using a range of Business Intelligence tools and methods.
What we're looking for someone with:
Experience in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions, using modern methods and data visualisation techniques.Experience in working with business areas to identify needs, evaluate data and processes, and support users in achieving self-service reporting and business intelligence capabilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments, with the ability to identify innovative strategies for data-driven decision making.Clear written communication skills, able to prepare concise and audience-specific presentations, reports, and technical documentation.Strong verbal and interpersonal skills, capable of building productive relationships and explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines, handling multiple projects and competing priorities with attention to detail and quality.Applicants with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or experience with Power BI, SQL and data transformation techniques are strongly encouraged to apply.
