Role Details: The role is a member of both the Site Leadership Team and the Australian AO Leadership Team.
Reporting to the Manager AO Australia, you will be responsible for driving a culture of Asset Optimisation (AO) across the Granny Smith Operation.
This includes active involvement in Business Planning, challenging the Leaders and workforce to meet or exceed performance KPIs; mapping and analysing the site key value drivers to identify and execute improvement initiatives that deliver real and positive value.
The role is also accountable to develop a Business Improvement culture across site through training, coaching and communication.

This role is offered on a 4 days on 3 days off, 4 days on 3 days off, 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO ex Perth to Granny Smith.

This role has a dotted line to and strong working relationship with the Site General Manager Lead the site Business Improvement team Assist site and departments in the development of an integrated Management Operating System (MOS) and implementation of this MOS across the mine site Lead the Business Process Review (BPR) activities for the site Support operations to deliver improvement initiatives contributing to the global Gold Fields targets Ensure critical initiatives are governed, tracked and reported Promote and utilise the framework for valuing and prioritising opportunities as set out by the Global AO framework to ensure a standard approach to value creation i.e.
Modelling the Business Levers which will provide the most value using the "Value Driver Tree" Involvement in regional and global AO and improvement projects as required About you: Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in business-related or technical discipline with appropriate business improvement experience Prior exposure to mining/heavy industry along with a background with business analysis, business/systems improvement Experience in managing a team to deliver agreed outputs Significant exposure to Six Sigma &/or Lean Manufacturing Prior experience in leading projects or programs Proven experience with influencing leaders and facilitating the introduction of initiatives Ability to manage change and act as a Change Agent Applications can be submitted via: https://careers.goldfields.com/Australia Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
